François de Kok For over 20 years I have filmed a variety of television programs, with Dutch celebrities like Herman den Blijker and Katja Schuurman. When BNN started its revolutionary TV show ‘Over mijn lijk’ (Over my dead body) I was asked to do all camera work. For this TV show we made several intimate portraits of young people struggling with incurable illness and death. Although illness and death are sensitive subjects we made beautiful, heartwarming documentaries that are very valuable for their friends and parents. Robert & François are the film crew of Tribute Films. Francois is the camera specialist and Robert is the editor. They met while working for ‘Ivo Niehe Productions’ where they worked together for several shows for NGO’s. Ever since they work together for television programs, corporate movies and clips. The team is often enlarged with extra professionals to deliver timely and assure quality. Besides a strong professional network, the team also has valuable connections in the funeral industry.




Robert After the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, I fully committed to directing television, corporate movies, short clips and commercials. I have been directing since 1996 and for over 15 years I edit my own work, to ensure a better quality. For television I collaborated for several NGO programs like CordAid, Pink Ribbon and Unicef. I made portraits of people who are supported by these organizations. Portraits that made a deep impression on the audience and on me personally. For Tribute Films we create unique and lasting documents. Documents of people that played an important role in the life of others. Although death is a sensitive subject, I would like to contribute to the celebration of life by creating a lasting document, to remember and to honor..
